Chris has nothing but positive things to say about Rihanna, but he’s finally moved on with his life, and talking to her at the Grammys was not a priority for him.
“Chris wasn’t there for Rihanna. He was there for himself and wanted to enjoy the show and he did,” a source close to Breezy tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He knew she was going to be there. He’s been in the same building with her many times before since they broke up. It’s not a big deal anymore for him. It’s really a non-issue at this point.”

That said, Chris still wants Rihanna to be happy, healthy and successful — always.
“He wishes her all the best and always wants her to keep doing her music and being on top of her game,” our source adds.

President Barack Obama‘s PSA about domestic abuse probably made the Grammys even more awkward for Rihanna and Chris, who infamously assaulted the “Stay” singer six years ago in 2009. But even though the moment may have made Chris uncomfortable, he’s still glad it happened.
“Chris definitely thought the message was important and hopes everyone took note of it, for sure. It hit him in his gut and made him think about [his 2009 assault on Rihanna],” a source told Primus TV EXCLUSIVELY.
