Taylor Swift Consoles A Broken Hearted Fan With A Breakup Playlist

Can you imagine getting one-on-one break up advice from Taylor Swift? Well, one lucky fan got just that and more.

Taylor Swift, 24, is probably one of the best people to get break up advice from considering her dating history. When a fan wrote about her devastating break up on Tumblr, Taylor was quick to respond with not only some really comforting words, but advice on how to move on.

When your boyfriend dumps you by text message, you definitely want to curl up in a ball and sob for three weeks straight.

Instead of doing that, one of Taylor’s fans, Kasey, reached out to her on Tumblr because she didn’t know what else to do rather than write to her idol.

Believe it or not, Taylor did respond. Kasey explained the break up in better detail, and Taylor offered her some very kind, very comforting words of advice.

“It’s so devastating to come to terms with speaking of someone in past tense when you used to see them as your present and your future,”  “But think about what he said. It will take a while for you to get those words out of your head.” Taylor wrote.

Taylor Offers Kasey a ‘Moving On’ Playlist

The advice did not end there.
After encouraging Kasey to ignore her ex and protect herself from his “emotional abuse,” Taylor also sent her a playlist of songs to help soothe the pain.
“I made you a break up/moving on playlist,” Taylor wrote, and then listed the following songs, “Stay Away – Charli XCX Not Around – Montgomery Wings – HEARTS Coffins – Misterwives Sleep – Azure Ray Begin Again – Measure.”
Once the mind blowing interaction with her idol was over, Kasey told BuzzFeed, “Anytime I start to feel alone or sad about the breakup, I have her advice saved in my phonebook and I look at it. And in my head, go Taylor Swift cares about me so I’m going to stay strong.”
